Christmas Day 2010

This year was a lot of fun watching the kids with their toys. Here are a few pictures of them.

Gingerbread House

Grandpa Asay came over to build a Gingerbread house with Morgan and Ayden. They had a lot of fun. I wish I would have gotten a finished picture of the house but I didn't.

Preschool Christmas Program

I'm a little behind on my blogging so to catch you up here are pictures from Morgan's Christmas program. They each had a little part they had to say then they sang all their Christmas songs they learned.

Temple Square

We took the kids to see the lights at Temple Square. None of these pictures are of the lights but they are all taken by Morgan.

She wanted a picture of the temple.

She wanted to take a picture of Daddy and Ayden.

She wanted a picture of Jesus.

She also wanted a picture of her and Jesus but could only fit one or the other in one shot.

Festival of Trees

I love making time for the fun Christmas activities and events there are to do. We started it off by going to the Festival of Trees. It's fun to see all the different ways people decorate their trees and of course we are supporting a good cause.

My Monday

I dropped the kids off at daycare today and about 15 minutes later I get a call asking if I wanted to turn around and go back. Apparently Ayden decided he needed to go visit the doctor today. He fell off a chair and his tooth went through his lip. when I saw him I thought for sure he would need stitches. I took him to Instacare and the doctor said the cut on the outside of his lip was not open enough to need stitches and the cut on the inside was borderline. He said he could put stitches in or leave it because with it being inside his mouth it would heal fast. I went with no stitches and an antibiotic to prevent infection.

These pictures are not the greatest but it gives you an idea.

Let me just tell you that he is doing fine. He was obviously hurting at first and I'm sure he still is a little. But he was running around the doctors office, daycare and home later like his normal self. Nothing slows this kid down!
