Halloween Highlights

Voting

Well I can say I voted yesterday. Andy and I dropped the kids off at Grandmas and went to stand in line. I stayed home from work because I was sick and while we stood in line I thought "what was I thinking I must be crazy torturing myself like this". I was hot then cold, then dizzy or felt like I was going to puke, but I survived the two hour wait and did my duty. I'm glad that's over, now I wish I would get over my sickness!

Spoiled

Our kids are so spoiled. Some friends of ours went to Disneyland and bought our kids these Halloween Mickey Mouse ears. They are so cute and the kids love them. Thank you Andy and Leslie, you guys are the best!!

The Party

Morgan's birthday party was so much fun. It all started when we went to pick up her cake. She was so excited and she wanted to eat it NOW! I told her we had to wait until everyone came to see her. Well everyone got here and she forgot all about it. She gets so excited when people are over and to have all her grandparents in one room, she didn't know what to do.

She opened presents and was so overwhelmed by what she got. She loved it all and wanted to play with it all at once. She got princess dresses and shoes, lots of Tinkerbell dolls, duplicates even (I guess that's what she gets for liking Tinkerbell so much). She got an easel to color on, a scooter and umbrella from Mom and Dad. Everyone definitely knows her well. She got everything she could have ever wanted and more. Yes...she's a little spoiled! But she thanked everyone by giving them a kiss.

The Witches

Today Andy and I had the day off work for Columbus Day, so we decided to take the kids to see the Witches at Gardner Village. It was a little cold but we had fun and Morgan wanted her picture taken with almost every witch.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to pick out our Pumpkins, Morgan rode in the wheel barrow and pointed to which pumpkin she wanted After choosing our pumpkins we walked through the children's corn maze. Morgan had fun trying to find her way to the end

Growing Boy

It always catches me by surprise at how fast time flies. Ayden is 6 months old. It seems like yesterday we brought him home from the hospital.

We went to the Dr. today for his check up and there were no complaints. He's a growing boy! "Tall and skinny" says the doctor. I say "He takes after his Dad". He weighs 15 lbs. 3 oz. and is 28 in in length. He got four shots, but was a little trooper, he cried for a minute then was all smiles. So to join in the "fun" Morgan and I got our flu shot too.

What a day!

It's nice to be home!

Anyone who's been away from home for a few days, especially away from your family, knows how nice it is to come home. I had to go to Denver, Colorado for a couple of nights this week for work and it's the first time I have ever been away from the kids for so long. At first I thought it would been nice and relaxing, I could sleep through the night without having to get up with one of the kids and I could have a little "Me time". Well it wasn't really like that. It was pretty exhausting after the flight there Wednesday night, Thursday was work all day (with a migraine on top of that). I couldn't sleep both nights, just tossed and turned. PLUS...I MISSED MY FAMILY!! So again I say.."It's nice to be home".
