Fish Lake

Our first camping trip for the summer was at Fish Lake. The kids and I had never been there. It is a really pretty area. We went with Andy's Mom and Dad and his sister Amalie and her family. Morgan had a lot of fun playing with her cousin Codie and Ayden had fun keeping us busy chasing him. We even took Morgan out on the lake fishing and that was a BLAST. Everytime she put her pole in about a minute later she had a fish. She thought that was great!

Friday night we went for a ride because the kids were super tired. We took this picture of Morgan then right after she threw up! She was up all through the night throwing up and feverish, she had gotten a little heat stroke. NOT FUN!!

Fun on the 4th

We spent the day up in the Uintas with family who was camping there. The kids had a blast! They always have fun playing with their cousins Kodiak and Kalsin.

Parade

Every year we watch the Riverton parade at Andy's Grandpa's house. This has become a tradition in our family and teh kids have a really great time getting candy and spending time with their cousins.

After the Parade we enjoyed watching fireworks.

Temple Experience

On Saturday we took the kids to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House. It was really neat to be able to take Morgan in and show her the inside. She is facinated with the temple and loves seeing it everytime we drive by. Here are some pictures of her and her Grandpa Asay.

Straight to Curly

People have asked how I get Morgan's "super straight" hair from this...

To this..

Well here's what I do. Morgan's hair is so straight it will not hold a curl any way I try. This is what I came up with and it seams to work well.

I twist little sections of her hair up in little buns (this has to be done when wet). Then she sleeps on it over night.

Planting Flowers

This was Morgan first experience in planting soemthing from seed. She had fun helping Daddy.

Herriman Youth Fishing Club

For 3 years now Andy has volunteered for Herriman City in the Herriman Youth Fishing Club. Andy and other volunteers teach kids all about fishing. He just finished up another year this last week.
