Santa
We took the kids to see Santa yesterday. Andy had taken the day off work and we thought that during the week there wouldn't be much of a line to see Santa. Morgan was excited to go. We got there and walked right up (there was no line), then Morgan got shy and didn't want to sit on Santa's lap. Ayden was good and just sat there either smiling or starring at the man holding him. We finally got Morgan to sit next to him just as long as Daddy was sitting by her too. Oh well! At least we had one kid smiling in the picture.

Morgan in the spotlight
Morgan loves to watch her Dancing Princesses movie and dance with them in her princess dress. Here is a video of her dancing and showing off. When I pull out the video camera she loves to watch herself and make funny faces, so that is what she is doing at the end.

Teeth, Standing and Fun
AYDEN's first tooth has broke through. He was a little fussy in the night so I was trying to calm him and he grabbed my finger and put it in his mouth and that's when I felt it. It surprises me because Morgan didn't start getting her teeth until she was one. He is also pulling himself up to everything he can. He thinks he is such a big boy when he can stand up to things. I put him down for a nap and after a few minutes it was quiet so I went to check on him and he had pulled himself up to standing position in his crib. He just looked at me like " Hi Mom, look at me, this is so cool". All I could do was smile at him and take a picture, of course.

MORGAN on the other hand is my little 3 year old going on 13 somedays. She is so smart and picks up on everything. I love having conversations with her just to hear what she will say. She went to Disney on Ice with her Grandma last weekend and had so much fun. She spent the night the night before then rode the Trax to Disney on Ice. When she got home she couldn't stop talking about it and how she rode the train and looked out the window and that she ate popcorn and saw the Princesses and Minnie and Goofy (she named them all).

It's that time of year
This time every year Andy starts putting up Christmas lights. He looks forward to it and since we've been married he adds AT LEAST another strand or two every year. Well the last few years he has been putting music to his lights. Being the computer programmer that he is, he designed the program he works with. He chooses the music he wants and choreographs it to the lights. He works on this all year long. Andy took today off work and stared putting up the lights on our house, it will take him about a month to get it done. Sometimes I wonder if it is all worth it. He says it is and he enjoys it. He drives me nuts with it all year but in the end it really turns out great! I will try to post a video of it later when it's all done.
Here is Morgan trying to help.
